WHAT TO EXPECT:
During this 3-day retreat, you can expect to intentionally and gently explore touch with yourself and others. Each activity will be clearly explained before you choose in to your level of participation. A lot of space is given for choice in each moment. You will never be pressured to do anything past your comfort level. All activities have a solo option so you can practice being with yourself. You could potentially only practice these touch exercises with yourself all weekend if you wanted so, don’t be afraid that you would have to engage with others in any way that you didn’t want to.
You can expect all participants to have a clear understanding of the boundaries of the space, including yourself.
You can trust that Melissa has interviewed all participants to help ensure everyone’s safety and comfortability.
You can also expect about one hour of pre-retreat homework. This is required.
We will begin Friday at 3pm and end Sunday at 6pm.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
In October 2025, we will be in Helper, Utah. We will be staying at an old, renovated brothel. All rooms are private as well as warm, clean, and comfortable. Some rooms have private bathrooms and most have shared bathrooms. There is a full kitchen for you to use with all of the modern necessities you’d expect and more.
Unfortunately, this space is not wheelchair accessible and a flight of stairs will need to be managed by all.
Contact Melissa with specific questions.
