Our annual hike by the sea, The Seashell trail.🐚🪸
We will hike from Nuweibaa to Dahab through the amazing Abu Galloum Protectorate.
3 nights of camping by the sea enjoying moon reflection over the sea.
Difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
Distance: Around 50 KM long at sea level.
Includes:
- Transportation from Cairo to Nuweibaa and Dahab to Cairo
- Accommodation (3 nights camping by the sea) You'll need to bring your own camping gear.
- B/L/D on Friday & Saturday
- B on Sunday
- Bedouin guides for hiking
- Pick-up cars to carry our camping stuff and food.
- Boat from Ras Abu Galloum to Blue Hole
- Water & hot drinks
We will meet up on Thursday 13th of Nov and leave Cairo by 6:00 PM, reaching Nuweibaa & sleeping overnight.
Day 1 (Friday): We start our hike in the direction of Dahab, (6-8 hrs hike/25 KM), we'll spend the night camping by the sea. You can take a dip (or more)
Day 2 (Saturday): Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise. Start the 2nd hike, (6-8 hrs hike/25 KM), until we reach Ras Abu Galloum.
Day 3 (Sunday): After breakfast, it is snorkeling time at one of the most amazing reefs. At 1 PM, we'll take the boats to the blue hole. Take the cars to Dahab downtown. Free tour in Dahab and you can optionally have lunch in any of Dahab restaurants.
We'll leave Dahab to Cairo around 4:30 PM. Expected to arrive in Cairo by 11 PM

Important Tips:
• 1st and 3rd nights; The Camping site has fresh water and basic shared toilets.
• 2nd night; The camping site has no toilets or fresh water. We'll use bottled water so please preserve water consumption.
• Bottled water will be provided during the trip.
• No phone coverage during the hike; starting Friday morning till Sunday noon.
• Food is basic yet very delicious Bedouin meals. Please let us know of any dietary requirements.
• Extra fees may apply for non-Egyptians for permit
• Make sure to have extra cash for additional meals, snacks, or drinks in Dahab.

Cancellation policy:
100% refund before November 4th. Cancellation fees are 2800 LE after November 4th.
No cancellation is possible within 48hrs of event start time.
The event can be canceled in case of bad weather or government regulations.
