Jay Zeballos Jiu Jitsu Seminar

Jay Zeballos has been a student under Jean Jacques Machado for over 28 years, receiving his Black Belt in 2007. A full-time instructor since 2010, he teaches adult and youth classes at the JJM Headquarters in Woodland Hills, CA. Jay has assisted Jean Jacques with the development of much of his instructional media including designing and launching the first online training program for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu back in 2006, as well as co-authoring two best-selling books (The Grappler's Handbook Vols. 1 & 2). He currently co-hosts Jean Jacques popular podcast "No Gi Required."

As a 4th degree black belt, Zeballos is also the executive director of Jean Jacques affiliate program and conducts private training, workshops and seminars both domestically and internationally.

Jay competed extensively in both Gi and No Gi tournaments for over 10 years in the Black Belt master divisions before shifting his focus to teaching. He is a 7 time IBJJF American National medalist, 5 time IBJJF No Gi Worlds medalist, a 5 time IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu medalist and a 2 time IBJJF World Master medalist.
