Build A Pet Shelter Project

We will be hosting a build a dog house project on January 10th, 2026 at the shelter. If you can help please meet us at 8:30am. There are many dogs and cats in Wolfe County without proper shelter as colder weather approaches. We are looking for anyone who can help—whether by donating materials (such as wood, insulation, screws, or shingles) or by volunteering time to build safe, weather-appropriate dog and cat houses.

Every pet deserves a warm, dry place to rest this winter, and even a few hours of your time or a small donation can make a big difference.

If you’re able to contribute materials, labor, or funds, please message me directly. Let’s come together as a community and make sure no animal goes without shelter this winter.

All houses will be donated to the dogs and cats in the community that do not have proper shelter. Thank you!
