MDP is excited to announce the 2nd annual Pay What You Can Homeschool Picture Day as Friday, August 29, 2025 at Misty Dawn Photography in Hazlehurst, MS.
This year, the backdrop (pictured above) is a classic white with fun blow up pencils.
Tip for what to wear: Let your homeschooler shone in their own style.
Muted, neutral, and solid tones will photograph much better than stark primary colors with busy patterns.

This is our 5th year of homeschooling. The homeschool community is very special to our family.
We know times are hard with most families having one income. This is our way to give back to our community.
Pay what you can is just that. The day of the photoshoot you can pay what you can in cash, cashapp, venmo, paypal, or even on your sign-up link beforehand.
Each child will need a sign up as these are individual portraits and not a time for sibling shots together. You will receive ONE digital image download in an online gallery with the option to purchase more at $15 per image.
