🪁 Back by popular demand is the Hays Prairie Winds Kite Show - a spectacular, FREE family-friendly event now expanded over 2 days Saturday and Sunday September 6th and 7th 2025 from 11-4 daily.

📍 Bickle-Schmidt Sports Complex, 1376 U.S. Hwy. 183 Bypass

Hosted by the Hays Convention & Visitors Bureau and the hays Recreation Commission this event promises two amazing days of free high-flying fun with the stunning kite displays by Great American Kites & Events. 🪁

🪁 What to Expect: Giant kite display featuring an awe-inspiring sight of some of the world’s largest kites taking to the skies.

🐢 Exciting Activities: Food trucks, games, live animal encounters, and more!

😎 Bring Your Own Comfort: Feel free to bring your own seating, coolers, and drinks into the sports complex. (No glass bottles, please.)

🐕 Pet-Friendly: Leashed pets are welcome, but be sure to clean up after them.
