Fannie G. Foundation Annual Turkey Day Giveaway

Starting as a relief organization during the pandemic to help those in need, Fannie G. Foundation, a non-profit organization established in 2021, commemorates the legacy of Mrs. Fannie Grant Gilliam, a revered figure in Mosses, AL. Renowned for her selfless dedication to her community, Mrs. Gilliam's profound impact, both as an educator in local schools and as a foster mother, inspired the foundation's mission to unite and uplift the residents of Lowndes County, Alabama.

Currently, Lowndes County population is less than 9,800 people with over 26% of them living below poverty lines. WE truly believe in the saying “no family left behind”, that’s why we are reaching out to you. Last year we were able to provide for 101 families within the Lowndes County area.

On November 22, 2025, the Fannie G. Foundation along with members from the Hayneville Police Department and H & H Truck Wash will host it's Annual Turkey Day Giveaway at the Hayneville Square at 12pm - until.

The giveaway will be first come, first serve, while supplies last and limited to 1 turkey per family.

Please note, this event is free and no registration is needed; however, if you would like to donate, please click the orange button below . No amount is too small and every amount is appreciated and will go directly to the turkey giveaway.
