Homeschool Dig Day

Kick off our 2026 Homeschool Days with a hands-on archaeology dig day at Fairfield Archaeology Park!

As we approach the 250th anniversary of American Independence, this year's homeschool programs will explore Gloucester and Virginia's role in the early formation of our nation. Students will step into the shoes of archaeologists, learning about artifacts uncovered at Fairfield and how excavation helps us better understand the people and events of the past.

This engaging, outdoor experience combines history, science, and discovery! This is perfect for curious homeschool learners and those who enjoy being outdoors and in the dirt! And don't forget to wear green and spot all things green at Fairfield!

$8 Per Child, Ages 5-18.
$32 for 5 Children.
Kids Under 5 & Parents Free.
