Hike-Or-Treat

For the 8th year Yampa River State Park will be hosting our Hike-or-Treat event. Get outdoors this spooky season and give to a worthwhile cause. This year’s event will feature the candy trail, a photo booth and face painting.

To get into the event please bring a non perishable food item or toiletry (tooth brushes, deodorant, shampoo etc) to be donated to our local food banks.

This free event would not be possible without gracious donations from local businesses. A huge thank you to the Hayden Mercantile, Mountain Valley Bank in Hayden, Murdochs in Craig and Walmart in Craig! We could not provide this event to our community without you.

We are always in need of volunteers to pass out candy at the event so if you or your organization are interested please call the park office.
