A Night At The Musicals makes their Brisbane Powerhouse debut in March 2026 with Side By Side With Sondheim, an original staged revue celebrating the extraordinary legacy of composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim.
This intimate production showcases the songs, stories and characters that made Sondheim a defining force in musical theatre, featuring favourites from Company, Into The Woods and Merrily We Roll Along, alongside lesser-known works and fresh interpretations of familiar classics.
The cast includes Australasia’s very own Glinda, Courtney Monsma (Frozen, Six, Wicked), Sarah Morrison (Mamma Mia!, Come From Away), James Shaw (Rent, The Secret Garden), Lachlan Greenland (Cirque Alice, A Very Naughty Christmas), Jordan Koulos (Grease, & Juliet), Renae Suttie (The Swing Collective) and Erica Wild (Cinderella, The Rocky Horror Picture Show), with Liam J. O’Byrne (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, Merrily We Roll Along), Josh Whitten (Grease, Into The Woods), Paige McKay (Margaret Fulton, A Night At The Musicals), and Laura Garrick (Tell Me On A Sunday).
