Rhythmology is a bold, genre-blending theatrical performance that centers around the theme of a “factory reset”—a return to core values and creative identity. In an era where external pressures often pull us away from our true artistic selves, Rhythmology challenges both the artists and the audience to reconnect with what grounds them. It’s a celebration of how we, as creators, re-center, reclaim, and reset our cultural and artistic voices within a predominantly white landscape.
The show takes the audience on a journey through the multifaceted expressions of Queer, POC identity, using a dynamic mix of Hip-Hop, rap, spoken word, burlesque, and live music. These art forms come together to tell powerful stories of cultural preservation, self-discovery, and resilience. The performance is both intimate and collective, as it explores the tension between individuality and community within the broader context of a global reset.
Rhythmology invites the audience into a world where cultural expression is both a personal reset and a collective celebration.
Ultimately, Rhythmology is an invitation to rediscover what makes us unique and to embrace the strength that comes from being unapologetically true to who we are.
