The Sydney-based ensemble are currently finalists in the Australian Art Music Awards with Hamed announced as one of the esteemed hosts of the event.
Regulars across the European tour circuit Eishan Ensemble captivates audiences with a repertoire rooted in the original compositions of acclaimed composer Hamed Sadeghi seamlessly interwoven with dynamic improvisational elements.
Sadeghi’s psychedelic virtuosity is joined by the individual talents of Michael Avgenicos on saxophone Adem Yilmaz on percussions and Maximillian Alduca on double bass to create the layered and sophisticated soundscapes.
Eishan Ensemble's recently released fourth studio album Northern Rhapsody explores themes of connection transformation and belonging. Composed during a creative residency in regional Australia the album balances intricate compositions with the ensemble's signature improvisational flair.
