Binocular and Telescope Open Day

Interested in a new pair of binoculars, or want to try a telescope, but not sure what to look for or what the numbers mean?

You can try and buy on any day at the small shop in Burton Mere Wetlands' visitor centre, but come along to this event for more advice and expertise from the RSPB's optics partner, Viking.

We have the full RSPB binocular and telescope range, so there's something to suit all budgets and needs - from the beginner to the seasoned birder!

We have binoculars and scopes in stock so you can start using them immediately!

Buying directly from us is another fantastic way to support our essential nature conservation work.

The event will be held on the decking outside the visitor centre, giving you a great opportunity to try products. No need to book, just drop in any time from 10am-3pm.

It's free to attend, but normal admission charges do apply for non-member visitors wanting to head around the reserve too. Whether you're choosing your first binoculars or looking to upgrade, we'll have the right optics for you.
