Get creative this festive season and make some wonderful willow decorations to adorn your abodes with!
Led by Cassandra Lishman – a local willow weaver with over 25 years worth of experience!
In this three hour workshop you will use lovely locally grown willow, to create several items under Cassandra’s expert guidance. You will get the opportunity to make a star, Xmas tree platter, mini reindeer decorations and a lovely multi coloured wreath.
Refreshments will be available to purchase from The Really Wild Emporium.
The workshop will take place in the ground floor restaurant space at The Really Wild Emporium – Please note there is no designated parking immediately outside of The Really Wild Emporium.

Important Notes:
* You don’t need to have any previous experience or bring any equipment with you – though bringing your own secateurs will be useful.
* This workshop is not suitable for children under the age of 16 years old.
* In order to cover our costs we need to sell a minimum of 6 places per workshop. Should we not reach our minimum numbers we will unfortunately have to cancel the event. About Cassandra Lishman:
Cassandra has over 25 years worth of experience working with willow. From creating animal sculptures to honing her skills in basketry, she is passionate about creating, teaching, and spreading her love for this ancient craft. Cassandra has worked with a wide range of people, including developing projects with schools, and running workshops for people with learning disabilities, autistic people, people who are deaf, people with mental health problems, and people with dementia. Her teaching style aims to empower the innate creativity in every individual.
