The DeSotos 'Acoustic Routes Show'

True veterans of the Country Rock, Americana, Blues Roots sound, all delivered with it’s own distinctly New Zealand flavour, this stripped back acoustic version of one of NZ’s favourite touring bands are going to light up the halls they visit.

Paul Gurney on (mainly) acoustic guitar and blues harp, Stuart McIntyre on bass, and Vic Singe on brushed drums. These three have played with a who's who of NZ music over the years, and are loving working together on these shows, primarily focusing on their own original songs, but throwing in some of their favourite covers as well.

If you love the sound of The Travelling Wilburys, Tom Petty, Neil Young and The Warratahs you’re gonna really love these guys.

Very excited to be bringing The DeSotos into the Kereru Community Hall

This seems like the perfect band to kick off a whole new era of Small Hall Sessions in my local hall!
