About the event

Simultaneous Exhibition with FM Bob Smith
Ever wanted a chance to play a top New Zealand player? Well here's your chance!
FM Bob Smith will be visiting the Hawke's Bay Chess Club and conducting a simultaneous exhibition, which involves playing numerous people at the same time.
Bob has won the NZ Chess Championship twice, has achieved 3 International Master (IM) norms and has represented New Zealand at 12 chess Olympiads between 1976 and 2010. As an organiser, Bob served 7 years as the president of the New Zealand Chess Federation and was the founder of the NZ Interschool Chess Championships.
Opportunities like this don't come around in Hawke's Bay very often, so we hope to see you there!
