PRIDE: ACTUP & Resistance

Happening Thursday October 9 starting at 6pm: an interactive and relevant seminar examining the strategies of the ACTUP movement of the 80s and 90s and how we can learn from and apply those strategies to our present day struggle. Facilitators will provide an abridged history of ACTUP and their most effective organizing tactics before discussing recent organizing successes local to us and the parallels between the two. Then we all get to brainstorm how we can engage in similar ways to combat the current rise of fascism and bigotry!

Thursday October 9 at 6pm. TSC 210 S 25th Ave. 100% FREE!

This event is open to all ages, however some content & themes discussed may be inappropriate or upsetting for young attendees. Please use discretion when bringing youth.
