Homecoming: A Foundation Course in Shamanic Journeying Open Afternoon with Sophie Waterhouse

As the autumn days draw in you are invited to this free introductory afternoon to hear more about shamanic journeying and why it may be a helpful skill to learn if you are looking to develop your connection with the natural world and a sense of coming home to your deepest self. Journeying can also be of interest to artists, writers and filmmakers, anyone interested in dreams and in Carl Jung's psychology of the collective unconscious. You will be able to ask questions and see the space where the small group will meet for the course over 4 weekends between February and June 2026. About me: I am a BACP accredited, humanistic psychotherapist in private practice. I first learned to journey with psychologist Dr Leslie Gray in 2000 as part of a psychotherapy masters programme at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. After returning to the UK, in 2007 I joined the Homecoming programme created by core staff member and practitioner Judy Hargreaves at humanistic psychotherapy centre Spectrum Therapy in Finsbury Park. In 2018 I trained with Judy to teach Homecoming. I have a background in filmmaking and writing.
