Guided Pottery 7-Week Course

If you’ve been through our Beginners and/or Improvers course (or similar elsewhere) and would like to practise these skills while working on your own projects, join this one! This course won’t have a specific structure. Just bring ideas/pictures and the tutor will help you bring your ideas to life!

WHEN? Tuesday evenings from 6 - 9PM for 7 weeks

PRICING
At Neighbourhood, we use a solidarity pricing system in order to promote equity and diversity and increase access to pottery as a craft. At checkout, you will have the choice of 3 prices for this course. Please choose either Low Income for £180, Standard for £200, or Pay it Forward for £220 based on your personal circumstances. The Pay it Forward price helps us subsidise the low income spaces.

FINISHED WORK
Students will be able to glaze and fire work throughout the course. 2.5 kilos of fired work is included in the price of the course and any work fired beyond this will be charged at a rate of £6 per kilo. Pieces will be ready for collection after their final firing a few weeks after the course ends.

WHAT TO WEAR
Clay and glaze both rinse out of clothes very easily, but wear something you don't mind getting a bit messy in. Also, please bring an apron if you have one. If not, we have spare ones you can use.

NOTE: Participants must be 16 or over.
