About the event

Shambhala Vajra Kungfu: Secret Breathing And Energy Revealed
Laurence Brahm, film director at Shambhala Studio, is offering a two-day program on the previously undisclosed Zhalung or Qigong energy-breathing techniques and martial arts forms of the Shambhala warriors, often depicted in monastery murals within the Shambhala narrative. This ancient practice features body movements designed to open chakras and nerve points, ignite and circulate energy throughout the body. It incorporates visualization and a unique meditation practice focused on the Shambhala mandala, recently shared following Shambhala Studio's last expedition to the Jonang monasteries—once considered the elusive Shambhala that early 20th-century Western explorers sought.

Participants will receive a Shambhala Passport, which serves as the official course manual, providing detailed instructions on the techniques learned during the program. Upon completion, they will also be awarded a Certificate of Completion in Shambhala Vajra Kungfu & Energy Practices, recognizing their initiation into these ancient warrior techniques.

For those who wish to continue their learning journey, there will be an opportunity to book a private consultation with Laurence Brahm after the course to receive personalized guidance and deeper exploration of the practice.

Participants will receive a set of daily practices to take home. The program will be enhanced with musical interludes by Tibetan Musician, Bone Lhamokyap, who composed the score for Laurence’s upcoming documentary, Searching for Shambhala.

Roots and endlessness.

The original music of Bone Lhamokyap comes from the soul of the Shongomah (Sangemao) people, a minority Tibetan tribe whose existence is on the verge of extinction.

His music reflects a deep admiration for nature, peace, and the beauty of life. Bone blends ethnic sounds with electronic harmonies, playing instruments like the guitar, flute, and keyboard. He is also skilled in Kundalini meditation, chanting, and crafting some of his tribal musical instruments.

Bone has performed on numerous stages across Asia, Europe, and the USA, including the Shanghai World Music Festival. In 2016, he collaborated with Grammy-recognized producer Michael Starita at Fantasy Studios in California, producing singles like Mother Earth is Crying.

He has continued to tour internationally, including a notable summer Europe Tour in 2024, which concluded with a performance at Finland's Kosmos Festival.

In October 2024, Bone released his new EP, which serves as the soundtrack for the upcoming movie by Laurence J. Brahm under Shambhala Studio Records, the new chapter of the Searching for the Lotus Born Master series. Bone also received the Best New Age award at Beijing’s Gate of Nine Dragons Festival in 2024.
