Fundamentals of Polyvagal Co-Regulation
Yoga teaches us to move from the inside out—attuning to breath, body, and presence. Polyvagal theory adds another layer, helping us understand how our nervous system shapes connection, safety, and flow in relationships.
In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore co-regulation as a somatic practice - learning to shift states, cultivate authentic presence, and deepen relational attunement.
Through simple yet profound partner exercises, we’ll engage in nervous-system-to-nervous-system connection, building greater ease, agency, and collaboration in shared space.
Led by master somatic psychotherapist Beth Dennison, this session weaves together insights from interpersonal neurobiology, Somatic Experiencing, and Bodynamics, offering four key skills for embodied relating. Whether at work, or in therapy, and daily life, these tools enhance authenticity, clarity, and flow in our relationships.
What to Expect:
● Engaging, body-based practices that support co-regulation
● Orienting to our polyvagal nervous system from the body up
● A welcoming space—come solo or with friends!
● No prior experience needed—just curiosity
All bodies are welcome. Wellness, healing, and yoga practitioners as well as therapists will find this work personally and professionally relevant. Participation is always optional—co-regulation is only co-regulation when it is good for both people.
Join us to explore the power of embodied connection.
