Community First School - Celebrating 5 Years

We opened in the middle of the pandemic... a school crafted by and for North Hartford residents. We came together - parents, teachers, community based organizations, community advocates, former school administrators, and many more to envision a model that sought to value the context of those served in determining the education delivered. And we now have five amazing years under our belts.

Please join us to celebrate the incredible story of Community First School, on Wednesday October 22, at the Keney Park Pond House. The evening will begin with a VIP student led tour of the Keney Park Nature Trail at 5:15 PM. General admission will begin at 5:45 PM to the inspiring sounds of the Community First African Drummers. Guests will enjoy passed hors d'oeuvres and dinner by Bears Smokehouse, as well as a choice of beer, wine, a signature cocktail, and soft drinks. Tickets are available for purchase here.
