No previous art experience needed, as you will be guided by artist and mother Sinead Holly Woodnutt.
10-12pm Thursday mornings at The Community Art Studio, Forest Row. £40 per month.
Expect gentle nourishing mornings to support you throughout your pregnancy journey, whether that be the highs or the times when it all feels too much.
Keeping an art journal during this time is a valuable ally to help us process our feelings, let go of fear and be ready to meet our little one when they arrive earth side!
You can expect to be guided into different art prompts using a variety of materials, including watercolour, acrylic paints, gouache, collage, soft pastels, coloured pencils and oil pastels. We will also make some clay models of our yonis/wombs to help us prepare for the opening in a gentle and supportive way.
All of this is guidance and you are welcome to work with the prompts in your own way, to what feels right to you!
All materials included, journal included and light refreshments. We will also have a private fb group you can join to share and support each other in your journal making and pregnancy.
