Bodywork for firework phobic dogs

This workshop will give you some tools to help your dog through firework season

Firework phobic dogs can begin to react to changes in the environment in the run up to firework season -having a few basic bodywork techniques can be helpful to help reduce anxiety as the days become shorter

We will look at some work to help relax your dog before the fireworks start and which can practiced and be repeated during firework season


You will learn

How to assess your dog for soundness and better understand alignment and why this knowledge can help you detect sore areas in your dogs body

How to identify sore and sensitive areas in your dogs body-which can occur due to stress and tension


Learn some simple bodywork techniques to help reduce your dogs tension in the lead up to firework season

Basic facts about fascia and why it is an integral part of your dogs body

If time allows we will look at some simple postural exercises
