Sourdough workshop

Led by Drew Smith who learned the art of sourdough while working in an on-farm bakery in Sweden. Learn the basic principles of sourdough: making and maintaining a starter, mixing dough, shaping and scoring techniques, understanding fermentation and troubleshooting. Participants will taste test some loaves.

Once you've registered, you'll hear from Drew about what to bring.

After the beginner workshop, Drew will spend an hour taking questions from those who have worked with sourdough before and might be struggling with keeping their starter healthy or improving the texture of their bread. If you have questions you'd like Drew to address in the Q & A, feel free to email them to us ahead of time.
