This tour will be a genuine UK coast to coast journey - it would be very suitable preparation for our Spain or Morocco tours.
As a very experienced local, Kevin can lead you through some challenging and technical locations to cross the UK from the Cumbrian coast to Robin Hood Bay, North Yorkshire. We will drive a range of byways and unclassified county roads - many covering quite some distance. Some tracks are tight and have steep sections of loose rocky surfaces which need care to achieve but allow you to access some stunning and remote locations.
Overnight stops in local simple campsites (other hostelleries will be available) If you are an enthusiastic and experienced overlander this will be a wonderful way to explore the beauty of the north of England!

Starting in the west of the picturesque Lake District and crossing The Spine of England and The Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors over 3 nights/4 days. inclusive of vehicle, driver and passengers BYO lunch/refreshments/accommodation.
Our qualified professional 4x4 instructors will meet you at the start location. You will be loaned a mobile radio for communication. All vehicles must be suitable for driving on Byways.
All terrain tyres or terrain response (road tyres) are required for this route. The route is mildly scratchy.
Our lead vehicles our fitted with recovery equipment and winches should they be required.
All vehicles must be fully insured, taxed and have a current MOT. We do not accept Quads or Motorbikes.
BYO Full Day tour @ £450/vehicle (including VAT).
A minimum of 3 vehicles are required to allow this event to happen and a maximum of 5 vehicles.
