Celebrate Abraham Lincoln's 217th birthday with a free behind-the-scenes look at the Museum's rarest items!
Celebrate Abraham Lincoln's birthday monthwith a free behind-the-scenes look at items inside our Vault - here, the most precious and rare items in the Museum are carefully preserved. Our Director will allow you to see many special items up close and will provide you with detailed information. Ticketed admission will take place throughout the day on Saturday, February 7. To reserve your place in line, you MUST claim an entrance ticket at the registration below. All entrance tickets are free, but are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition to a special peek at rarely displayed items, all visitors, whether they have a ticket or not, can also experience special tours of the galleries by our curator throughout the day. President Abraham Lincoln himself will be on-site giving the Gettysburg Address throughout the day!
