Tom Harrington’s debut album ‘Barely the Same’ is finally here and is touring around the whole of Australia to celebrate! A new beginning built of lessons learnt the hard way.Tom has lived in his van the past 3 years carving out a reputable place in the Australian music scene, supporting acts like Boy & Bear, Ziggy Alberts, The Dreggs, Kim Churchill, Felipe Baldomir, Bears Den (UK) & Steph Strings and left footprints on the stages of Byron Bluesfest, Gympie Music Muster and Airlie Beach Music FestivalHis lyrics wander through themes of longing, love, and beauty of the natural world, wrapped in melodies that feel like they’ve been passed down through generations. With a sound that tips its hat to trad folk and dips its toes into coastal country, Tom is just as at home serenading a backyard of rug-goers as he is lighting up a festival stage. Either way, the crowd ends up swaying like trees in a summer breeze.
