ROUTE & DETAILS
Start: Boon Country Store (unload & park tractors along the tracks)
• Sherman St. → Caberfae Overlook (7.6 mi)
• Down into Slagle Valley → Harrietta Town Hall (2.5 mi steep, 1000 feet of decline, GOOD BRAKES required!)
Lunch: 12-2pm at Harrietta Town Hall (lower level kitchen)
Return: 9 mi paved road through Slagle Valley → back to Boon (Total Round Trip: 16.6 miles)
EXTRA NOTES
“Boonietta” = Boon + Harrietta (better than “Harryboon,” trust us)
Vintage tractors (1920s-50s) encouraged, newer welcome
Leisurely fall-color ride, not a speed race
Wildlife sightings likely (bears, bucks, foxes)
Boon = highest elevation in Lower MI (1,371 ft)
