Indivisible Jefferson County WV, Hope In Alliance, @Eastern Panhandle Policies over Party and Berkeley Indivisible are hosting -
Please join us for a protest against proposed changes to erase the history of John Brown and slavery from Harpers ferry National Historic Park. to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park this Friday, September 19, 2028, at 10:00 AM. We are taking a stand against the administration's reported plan to remove up to 30 displays and artifacts related to John Brown and the history of slavery, allegedly dictated by the "Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History" Executive Order.
Join us and stand up to tell the administration HANDS OFF OF OUR HISTORY.
This event aims to send a clear message: "HANDS OFF OUR HISTORY!" We believe that the truth matters and that erasing documented history, including the history of slavery and its impact on this county and country, is a dangerous and undemocratic move. We must stand as guardians of our complete history, both good and bad, to prevent its repetition.
