Talking Tombstone Event

Preview of the historic persons who will be represented at the first “Talking Tombstones of Harper, KS”, to be presented on October 18, 2025, The presentation will be at the Harper Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. and the history to be shared is amazing. We will feature a new clue as to the characters each week to entice you to join us.
For this week, our clue is for a Doctor in early Harper history who contributed to the town for many years and his wife, who was busy with early church religion for all faith and a public library. This picture is of their home in 1901, located in south Harper.


The Harper County Genealogical Society will be hosting this Talking Tombstone event.
