A special private program for members of the Root Collective.
Join Center Manager Emily Davis for a calming late-morning walk on the ADA-accessible boardwalk at Beidler Forest. Together we’ll pause to admire and touch 1,000-year-old bald cypress and tupelo trees, listen for Barred Owls and fall migrant birds, and look for turtles, otters, and other wildlife along the way. This will be a chance to relax, breathe deeply, and connect with the healing power of nature under the forest canopy.
Date & Time: Saturday, October 11, 10:30 AM – approximately 12:00 PM
Admission: Free | Audience: Root Collective members and families
Accessibility: The full boardwalk is 1.75 miles. The group will be guided for much of the way, with time to stop at benches, reflect, and walk back at your own pace. All facilities associated with this program are ADA accessible.
This private program is designed especially for the Root Collective community to experience the peace and beauty of Beidler Forest together.
