National Coffee with a Cop Day

National Coffee with a Cop day is a day dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. The day began as part of National Community Policing Week in 2016 and now continues each year on the first Wednesday in October furthering efforts nationwide to bridge the gap between the community and the law.

Please help us welcome our service members with the Harker Heights Police department and get to know the person behind the badge by sharing a cup of coffee with them. Behind the badge and uniform are members of our community—neighbors, parents, and friends. National Coffee with a Cop Day provides a unique opportunity to connect with these men and women in uniform on a personal level over a simple cup of coffee.
