Beat the rush and sign up early for our ALWAYS SOLD OUT Blown Glass Ornament workshop! They also make beautiful plant watering globes or keep the blow tubes on and gather them in a vase for a never ending bouquet! Any way you make these, they are beautiful!
You will get to choose all your colors, then flame fire them and blow! This done on a torch with pre-formed glass tubes from Germany called Glaskolben. They are beautiful and delicate!
Ornaments 'can' get up to approximately 3-4" around, but, dependent on the colors chosen, amount of glass frit placed into the tubes, students ability and a variety of other factors, all ornaments will not be the same size or shape!
There is NO WAY to pre-determine all the factors that go into the size and shape your specific ornaments will come out. Please understand these are hand made by you, so they will not be a perfect shere!
***Once blown, there is a 45 min to 1 hour wait for them to cool, you can wait in studio or return to pick them up.
$50 per person for 3 ornaments. No sharing of supplies or torches, each person attending must have a ticket, no exceptions. We cannot split 3 ornaments into 3 people, each participant needs to purchase a ticket for themselves.
DO NOT WAIT TO REGISTER as space is limited!! This WILL sell out! Every single class we have posted has sold out.
You need to register in advance and registration will close 1 week prior to event date.
**All participants must be at least 12 years old and those younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please be sure you read and understand the waiver.
