The Hancock Business Association invites everyone to downtown Hancock on Friday, November 28th, for the 54th Annual Christmas Walk, taking place from 6 to 8 pm on Quincy Street. This year’s festive theme is “Whoville in Hancock.”
The Christmas Parade steps off at 6 pm at Quincy and Reservation Streets, featuring floats, music, and holiday cheer. Contact City Hall at
Y2l0eSB8IGNpdHlvZmhhbmNvY2sgISBjb20= or call 906-482-2720 if you'd like to be in the parade. The parade will conclude at Memorial Park across from City Hall, where Santa Claus will make a special appearance to light the City’s Christmas Tree at approximately 6:10 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bundle up and join in the fun! Activities include dog sled rides, hayrides, Christmas cookie decorating, crafts, face painting, and more. Local businesses will stay open late, offering specials, treats, and warm holiday hospitality.
The City encourages all businesses to decorate their windows in this year’s “Grinchy” Whoville theme to help make downtown sparkle with seasonal spirit. We remind everyone that we will begin closing Quincy Street at 5 pm to ensure a safer celebration.
Celebrate 54 years of holiday tradition and community togetherness — Hancock’s Christmas Walk is the perfect way to start the holiday season! Follow the HBA and the City of Hancock social media for more details.
