Bat & Moth Walk

Come along to a unique evening and encounter some amazing night-time wildlife at RSPB Sandwell Valley! 🌌

Our friendly team will introduce you to the secret world of the reserve wildlife at night for an exclusive experience.

🌠 visit the Hide
🦇 look out for birds and bats
🔥 enjoy some campfire snacks.

We will begin with a fascinating talk on bats before exploring the reserve to see what creatures are flying after dark, what plants are glowing and experience the hide after dark to watch roosting birds and bats skimming the lake for insects.

On our return to the visitor centre, we will warm up around a fire with some campfire snacks, a glass of wine or hot chocolate (included in the price of the ticket), and a moth natter before discovering which ones we have found.

This event is aimed at adults and children aged 12+

We will be outside for most of the event, so please bring outdoor clothes and shoes. Torches will be available to borrow, but please bring your own if you want to.
