HRP Presents: Young Artist Competition Performance

Join the Hampton Roads Philharmonic on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2:30 PM at The American Theatre for an exciting afternoon of orchestral music featuring Young Artist Competition winner Everett Keith, horn.

Everett takes center stage in Camille Saint-Saëns’ Morceau de Concert for Horn, a brilliant showcase of virtuosity, color, and lyricism. The program also includes Florence Price’s Symphony No. 1, a powerful and deeply expressive work that blends symphonic tradition with spiritual influences and dance-inspired rhythms.

This concert celebrates emerging talent and great repertoire in one program, bringing together French romantic brilliance and a landmark American symphony.
