Hampton Horror Tours Casting Call!
Thursday, August 28 & Thursday, September 4, 6:30-8 pm
Our Horror Tours are back to bring tales of mystery and the macabre to the streets of Hampton…and with more fun and fright, twists and turns than ever before! We need you to "flesh out" this popular and engaging fundraising event in its latest reincarnation!
You are invited to help bring entities from the past "to life!" Join playwright and director Marie St. Clair for this fun and educational experience--whether you have acting experience or not.
There are lots of roles to fill in the Hampton Horror Tours, an interactive experience between the cast of "Spirits" and the walking tour audience. The tour will encounter you on their walk, After you share the story of your historical character, the audience will serve as jury to decide your fate--to forever roam the streets in the afterlife, or go on to your reward in the hereafter.
There's nothing for you to prepare, come between 6-8 pm. Marie will have you do a cold reading, and then she will lead you in some scare techniques acting techniques training.
Tour dates: Saturday, October 25, Wednesday, October 29, Thursday, October 30, and Friday, October 31. Tour times: 6:30 pm & 8 pm
There are new stories, new personages to meet from the mists of time and plenty of surprises in store! Leaving from the museum, these 60-minute tours include eerie tales of old Hampton and the Coastal Virginia area. Each tour will include the grisly side of Hampton history, the spooky St. John’s Church graveyard, and other points of fright along Queen Street and around Downtown Hampton.
