Fall fun for Fido and families is returning to Downtown Hampton’s beautiful waterfront for the Peninsula SPCA’s 19th annual Barktoberfest festival on October 4, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The shelter’s annual fall fundraiser will feature live music, local craft beer, food trucks, lots of local vendors, costume contests for pets and people with cash prizes, and more dog-friendly contests and activities for everyone to enjoy!
This Fido-friendly festival will offer lots of fall activities for guests AND their pups, including bobbing for tennis balls, a dog cake walk, and don't forget the popular and pup-tacular costume contest that features two categories: Pets Only and Pets & People! Cash prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd place in each category. Participants are encouraged to get creative with their costumes and dress to impress, as competition can be fierce!
