It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of our beloved Charles Arthur Carden of Whiting, IN, on August 13, 2025, in Franciscan Hospital, Munster, IN.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Carden-Bibler along with her children Trinity Bibler, Brodie Bibler, Cherish Lane, and Josiah Lane of Ohio and Courtney Carden and her son Cory Stivers of Tennessee . He is also survived by his sister, Myra Carden of Whiting, IN; his niece and nephews, Sean Blay, Dawn Blay-Hasan and Dustin Blay and great nieces Kennedy Smith, Harmony Smith, and Adeline Blay; great nephews Riley Smith and Urijah Smith.
Charles had attended Anthem Church in Hammond, IN, since 2020. He was a huge Ohio State fan and was an avid darts player for many years, travelling around to competitions.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Anthem Church, located at 6947 Hohman Avenue, on September 13, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Repast to immediately follow the service. Friends and family are invited.
