Tasting tickets are $10/per person. You may purchase tasting tickets ahead of time or at the door. Payments may also be made via Venmo: @HamlinLakeArielRotary. Please include your name & "tasting ticket" in the memo if submitting your payment via venmo.
We will also have a basket raffle and a 50/50! There's lots of fun to be had by all.
Guidelines for contest:
The entry fee for the contest is $5. Please complete a registration form and return with payment prior to the event date. Payments may also be made via Venmo: @HamlinLakeArielRotary. Please include your name & "Chili Cook Off Registration" in the memo if submitting your payment via Venmo.
Your submission should be delivered ready to serve and in a crock pot or other electric heating vessel by 3 pm- we suggest 2 gallons. We will supply power cords.
Extras should be in quart or other covered containers. We will have attendants to refill as needed.
Briefly describe your submission on the registration form based on ingredients. A card will be prepared at registration. Information identifying contestant is NOT permitted (Mary’s secret recipe).
Please notify us if your recipe contains any common allergens such as nuts, gluten, soy, dairy.
All attendees will receive 1 ballot for each contest.
Tasting starts at 4.
Contestants should remain anonymous and not entice votes.
Ballots will be tallied at 6:00pm, Cash prize of $100 will be awarded to the person receiving the most votes. Second Place winner will receive $50, Third place will receive $25.
