We're back again to dust off the winter legs with Torvelo Racing's 2026 reliability ride which will be held on Sunday 15th February.
No changes from previous years, basically a spring classic at this point.

Plenty of parking at Strathaven Hotel or the long stay car park on Station rd.
Full route will cover 58 miles/95km. Kick off in Strathaven, West to Galston, South to Sorn, through Douglas, up to Lesmahagow and back to Strathaven via Boghead.
Bailout option that cuts the route to 46 miles/75km. If you're suffering, dropped or just needing to get up the road a bit earlier, hang a left in Muirkirk (alt. route below)

Paced groups riding to set average speeds. Folk seem to appreciate the format of previous years so it's fastest off first again so there's always a group to drop back to if necessary.
Planned bunch times:
10.00: 22mph / 2hr40min
10.02: 20mph / 2hr55min
10.04: 18mph / 3hr15min
10.06: 16mph / 3hr40min
If there's no appetite for any particular pace on the day we'll pull it and set the next group off sooner.
As always this is not a race. The aim of the day is to work together and complete the route at a steady but challenging pace.
Usual club bunch etiquette and common sense applies. Play nice and look after each other.
When entering the built up areas, drop the pace until clear of major crossings and junctions. Take particular care on the descent to Sorn and the junction at the bottom.
Strathaven Hotel will be open once again for post-ride scran and coffees.
