About the event

Durango Bears
The movie Durango Bears documents a six year study investigating the effects of expanding human development on bear populations.

Dive headfirst into bear dens with the biologists studying how human development affects bear behavior.

Durango bear study lead scientist Heather Johnson, Chris Servheen, co-chair of the North American Bears Expert Team and retired grizzly bear recovery coordinator, James Jonkel, FWP bear biologist with 50 years of wildlife experience, and Brandon Davis, the FWP Bitterroot wildlife conflict specialist, will be available after the film for a panel discussion and to answer your questions about the film and bears in the Bitterroot.

Don't miss this amazing film and a chance to speak with the scientist involved in the Durango study.
