Christmas at Portside

This December, Portside Wharf invites Brisbane to celebrate Moments That Make Christmas — a riverside festival of joy, generosity, and connection. Over three weekends leading up to Christmas, the precinct comes alive with family-friendly entertainment, live music, festive experiences, and prizes from local retailers.

Visitors can snap a photo with Santa for free when spending $50 or more at a Portside Wharf retailer, enjoy festive elf face painting for the little ones, listen to roaming carollers, and try their luck at the fan-favourite Claw Box filled with last-minute Christmas gifts. Each weekend features activities from 12 pm–4 pm, while Thursdays throughout December offer Kids Eat Free at participating restaurants, encouraging families to dine, explore, and embrace the festive season together.

Weekend Highlights:

• Weekend 1 (6–7 December): Santa Photos. Saturday 3 pm–7 pm, Sunday 12 pm–4 pm.
• Weekend 2 (13–14 December): Elf Face Painting & Family Fun. 12 pm–4 pm.
• Weekend 3 (20–21 December): Roaming Carollers & The Claw Box Lucky Dip. Carollers 12 pm–4 pm, Claw Box running all weekend.
