2026 Wagonhound Trail Run Registration
The Central Wyoming 4x4 Association proudly announces the 6th Annual Wagonhound Trail Run — open to all levels of 4x4 vehicles! This event is more than just a weekend of wheeling; it’s a celebration of Wyoming’s off-road community.
A First for Wyoming
The Central Wyoming 4x4 Association is proud to have partnered with a local landowner to create the first open-access off-road park on private land in Wyoming. The Wagonhound Off-Road Park spans 2,200 rugged acres, offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity for enthusiasts to explore new trails, test your rigs, and connect with fellow adventurers. GO WYO!
Event Dates
The fun kicks off Thursday evening, June 11, 2026 and runs through Sunday afternoon, June 14, 2026.
We’ll start with a group trail run Thursday evening and another Friday morning, then the rest of the weekend is all about open park runs at your own pace.
Whether you join us for one day or all four, you’ll find an adrenaline-loving community ready to hit the trails and have a blast.
Camping & Local Fun
Dry camping is available onsite, and in past years, most participants have chosen to camp at the park. For those who prefer extra comfort (or want to explore a bit), the town of Thermopolis is just 20 miles away — perfect for grabbing a meal, fishing, floating the river, or soaking in our world-famous natural mineral hot springs.
Why Donations Matter
The Central Wyoming 4x4 Association is a small, dedicated group of off-roaders who have poured their hearts — and often their own funds — into creating and maintaining this park. While registration is free, your donations directly support:
Trail maintenance and repairs,
Building new trails and features,
Installing and replacing signage,
Essential upkeep to keep the park safe and open to the community.
Saturday Night Fundraiser
To help fund these efforts, we host a Saturday evening dinner and raffle, as well as sell event merchandise. Thank you for your support — every contribution helps us keep Wagonhound thriving and growing for years to come!
Vehicle Safety & Tech Inspection
All vehicles must pass a tech inspection before entering the trails. Please make sure your vehicle is in good working order and equipped with:
Fire extinguisher
Roll bar (soft tops)
Seatbelts for all passengers
Complete exhaust system (no open headers)
Locker (front and/or rear for trails rated blue and above)
