CGC - Canine Good Citizen Test
The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program promotes responsible dog-human relationships and allows you to demonstrate that your dog should be welcome everywhere. Open to all dogs (mixed and purebred) who have a solid foundation in loose leash walking, coming when called, stay and good greeting behaviors with dogs and people. The class prepares you and your dog for taking the ten station AKC CGC test. This class is also an excellent refresher for those who want to do therapy dog work.
Wednesdays, February 25th, March 4, 11, 18th, 2026 7 pm to 8 pm
$120+tax for the session
Dogs should have knowledge of sit, down, stay, recall, walking together, okay to be petted, and walk by another dog. These skills will be fine tuned in the class as we practice for the test.
