Lighthouse Day is celebrated every year on August 7 and commemorates the important role of lighthouses in navigation and maritime safety.

Intense (horror) drama about two men who fall into madness at a lighthouse.
Thomas Wake, a sea dog who has seen it all, and the introverted young Ephraim Winslow, who wants to escape a trauma and make a fresh start, are tasked with looking after the lighthouse on a deserted island off the east coast of the USA for four weeks. The roles are clearly assigned: Thomas takes care of the light at night, Ephraim does the dirty work during the day. In the evenings, they share the table and soon the alcohol.

Der Tag des Leuchtturms wird jedes Jahr am 7. August begangen und erinnert an die wichtige Rolle von Leuchttürmen bei der Navigation und Sicherheit der Schifffahrt.
Der Leuchtturm
Intensives (Horror-)Drama um zwei Männer, die auf einem Leuchtturm dem Wahnsinn verfallen.
Der mit allen Wassern gewaschene Seebär Thomas Wake und der in sich gekehrte junge Ephraim Winslow, der einem Trauma entfliehen will und einen Neuanfang sucht, sollen vier Wochen auf den Leuchtturm auf einer einsamen Insel vor der Ostküste der USA aufpassen. Die Rollen sind klar verteilt: Thomas übernimmt nachts das Licht, Ephraim macht tagsüber die Drecksarbeit. Abends teilen sie Tisch und bald schon Alkohol.
