DMJ Fall Foliage ride!!!

Save the Date DMJ Fall Foliage ride Saturday October 11th

Join DMJ as we explore the scenic Appalachian Mountains. The Farmer’s Almanac has our planned area in peak foliage mid-October, fingers crossed.

Driving south on the Blue Ridge Parkway (not Skyline drive) we are planning to stop at a few breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountain overlooks. We will make our way to Buena Vista for fuel and a bathroom break. Then off to explore the George Washington National Forest. Planning to see a few waterfalls, cross a few creeks, and even drive through a drainage tunnel under the Blue Ridge Parkway. As a bonus adventure on the drive home there is a stop at the newly opened Buck-ee’s.

This will be a stock friendly drive, but we will encounter water crossing, mud, small rocks, and when driving trails, the ever-present pinstriping.
