Springfield and Murrumbateman Rural Fire Brigades are teaming up this year for a combined Get Ready Weekend community BBQ.

It’s a relaxed evening with neighbours and local firies, plus a chance to take a fresh look at how you prepare for the bush fire season ahead.

With the recent weather bringing strong growth in paddocks and bushland, now’s the time to review your fire plan and make sure your family knows what to do if a fire takes hold.
