Christmas Show Jumping with UHI North, West and Hebrides

Classes 1–5 & 7–10
These will run as normal show jumping classes, with a jump-off for those who are clear in the first round.

Classes 6 & 11 – Single Accumulator with Joker
One round against the clock over fences 1–8, with an optional Joker fence at the end.

• Fence 1 = 100 points, Fence 2 = 200 points … Fence 8 = 800 points.
• Points will be deducted for any fences knocked down.
• If the Joker is attempted and cleared, +1000 points will be added to your total.
• If the Joker is refused or knocked down, –1000 points will be deducted.

Class 12 – Horse & Hound
A horse or pony will jump a small course against the clock, with 4 seconds added for each knockdown. They then dismount in a poled-off area, giving their pony to their handler, and compete in a small obstacle course with their dog.

There is no limit on the number of classes a combination may enter.

General Info:

• Rosettes 1st - 6th.
• No limit on the number of classes per horse/pony.
• Complimentary tea, coffee, mince pies, and sweeties available throughout the day!
• Dress code: Casual and Christmassy (current standard hats and suitable riding footwear must be worn.)

Competition Rules:

• Hats must meet current safety standards.
• Suitable riding attire and footwear must be worn.
• No hoodies to be worn when mounted.
• Classes run under British Showjumping rules - if clear at the sound of the start signal (whistle) competitors proceed into jump off, which will be a shortened course against the clock.
• Judge’s decision is final.
